Serve the Greater Good

I think what’s really important in business and in life is to be able to put your agenda aside and serve someone else’s needs first.

A lot of times people will enter into a situation and think “what’s in it for me”, or “what do I get out of this”. They get so focused on getting there’s, that they miss out on the magic.

But by letting go of the need to “get mine” and serving the greater good…the invisible quite often becomes the visible.

Opportunities that seemed highly unlikely or near impossible can suddenly become a reality because the focus is on serving someone else's needs first.

An important point to realize is that this is not about being hokey or weird.  This is about tapping into the unexplainable magic that all top performers enjoy. They allow themselves to get out of the rational space of “how can I get mine?” and they allow themselves to enter into a more spiritual space of “how can I serve?”

Defying the odds, doing impossible and transforming the invisible into the visible are not logical or rational experiences. They are absolutely spiritual and the number one of pillar of the spiritual plane is faith.

It takes faith to put your needs aside

It takes faith to put someone else’s needs ahead of your own!

It may not make sense but if it did, it wouldn't be faith and it wouldn't be serving the greater good!
